LOVE is…

I’m baaack! Thank you, Peggy, for all that you do to love and motivate me!!

So, I decided to use some of Mama Kat’s inspirations to get me back on the band wagon of blogging. Don’t you fear, I have been reading and following several of my favorite blogs the whole time I have been gone from this little spot.

Sometimes I missed “I See You looking At Me,” and sometimes I didn’t. Suffice it to say, it IS definitely TIME to come back. I need another outlet y’all!

So, I chose prompt number 2.

2. A blog post inspired by the word: love.

Isn’t it appropriate? Friday is Valentine’s Day after all!

I think love is an action verb.

It is something we choose to do. I choose to love my husband and serve him, while showing him respect. I choose to feed, clothe, diaper and tickle my children. Well, they are so super cute that they make the tickling, hugging and kissing part easy.

This verse helps me to understand love:

I John 4: 18 (ESV)

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, I have come to know perfect love. This does not mean I am perfect. Because, I am not. It means God loves me perfectly, and in return I give him everything I have. I ask him to perfect me. To work on me, and make me a better Mother, Wife, Daughter and friend!

How am I doing? You can play teacher and grade me. Do you feel loved today?

I am so excited you wrote again. And love this LOVE post. They say when you give, you get back double fold. You love Chris and got LJ and Clarie…. that really is getting back double.

I am so glad you wrote and hope things go well and you continue. I will always be there for you.

    1. You are so right! Thank you, Peggy!!

I completely agree – love is something I choose to do too. Dropping in from Mama Kat’s!

    1. The action helps create the feelings when the feelings just aren’t there.
